All shells at Sea Otter Studio come from Kelsey's grandmothers house, she was an avid collector of all things strange and wonderful. We have no idea where all the shells came from but there sure are a lot of them! We didn't want to see them thrown out, so instead we want to turn them into art, until they run out. We know that taking shells from nature can have a negative impact on the environment, and for this reason we will not be expanding our inventory. What we have is all we'll ever get! Which means all art with shells is limited, and also one of a kind. We also donate a portion of the proceeds to Ocean Conservancy.
